For some time we had toyed with the idea of creating a wallhanging depicting a diverse group of children dancing. This vision evolved over time of these children dancing in a sky full of stars. Since they would need wings to fly, they became angels. Because of the pattern theme, the name of the pattern was a no- brainer, given the popularity of the Hit TV show “Dancing with the Stars”. It is a machine appliqué project depicting five diverse angels among a sky of stars. |
